The tulip is native to Central Asia and Turkey. Tulips are often associated with love, loyalty, and abundance. They are often given as gifts to express romantic love, as well as to celebrate friendship and loyalty. The shape of the tulip's petals can also be seen as a symbol of abundance, as they can resemble the shape of a bowl or cup overflowing with wealth and prosperity.
Red tulips are often associated with love and passion, while yellow tulips can represent happiness and friendship.
In my photographic process, I utilize semi-transparent layers to create a dreamlike and painterly aesthetic when capturing the beauty of the botanical specimen. The diffusion of light through the layers softens and blurs the edges of the subject, evoking the style of traditional paintings. This technique is achieved entirely in-camera, without any post-production manipulation.

In addition to our framed options, we also provide the option to purchase prints without frames. Frames:
Wood Materials
Quadrum picture frames are made in Germany from FSC®-certified wood. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council. The Oak frames are solid wood from FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer
Glass materials
The frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx 45%, apart from the A1 size which is high quality 3mm clear acrylic to prevent damage during transit. The frames are also equipped with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel.
Frame colours
The colours offered are ‘white’,‘oak’ and ‘black’
Dimensions
For each of the sizes, the dimensions of the wood moulding is the same. These dimensions are 25mm in depth, 16mm width
Hanging fixtures
The hanging type fixture on the reverse panel is ‘Nail hanging’. A size frames are equipped with hangers in portrait and landscape format. Here is how the fixture looks on the reverse of the frame:

I am based in The Netherlands (or Belgium) Is it possible to direct order?
- Absolutely, and I advise you to do that. There are also more possibilities to frame the work. Shipping will be a little faster as well.
I would like to have my print framed in a different way then available, is this possible?
- Yes it sure is. If you live in The Netherlands or Belgium I can assist you and have the print delivered in the frame of your choice. For other countries it is easy and best to contact your local framer who will frame your print beautifully according to your wishes. Of course I can assist you in choosing what frame would be the most beautiful option for your print.
I have difficulty choosing which print would look best in my space, what can I do?
